- The Bureau of Meteorology is expecting ex-tropical cyclone Anika will re-intensify off the West Kimberley Coast today to a category one system. At the moment it's moving across the north-west Kimberley, and is expected to continue tracking south-westerly today. Duty forecaster, Rohan Smith, says residents in the West Kimberley and East Pilbara need to prepare for a category three cyclone later this week.
- Around the world, leaders are condemning Russia's invasion of Ukraine. That includes Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison. The PM has criticised China for lifting restrictions on Russian wheat and barley imports.
