ARC grant successes support discovery in law, science and technology
The UTS faculties of Science, Law and Engineering and IT have dominated the latest Australian Research Council (ARC) funding rounds, with the awarding of 15 Discovery Projects and Discovery Early Career Researcher Awards (DECRA) totalling more than $5 million.
UTS was one of just two universities to receive more than one grant for law, with the Law Research Centre in the Faculty of Law receiving three Discovery Projects.
In the Faculty of Engineering and IT, the Centre for Quantum Computation & Intelligent Systems also secured three Discovery Project grants for its world-leading research in pure and applied quantum research.
