Being a registered nurse is a very testing and honest job that lets you meet so amazing people
My degree appealed to me because:
I could walk straight into a job that is of a positive benefit to the community.
I chose UTS because:
Of its handy location being close to public transport and through the reputation that the nursing department has
My advice to anyone considering the degree is:
Ask yourself; are you interested to work in a challenging environment, to provide real hands on care for those in need and to work with giving and versatile colleagues? If this appeals to you, then you will enjoy the challenge and variety in becoming a nurse. Being a nurse is a vocation and a real privilege.
My degree prepared me for the workplace by:
Deepening a broad range of skills and an understanding of how the health system works and how important it is to research and learn from the experience of others.
The thing I enjoy most about my job/working in health services is:
Being a registered nurse is a very testing and honest job that lets you meet so amazing people.
My professional goals/plans for the future are:
To keep learning new things and developing new skills and to keep all doors open to future opportunities
